Day 2
So when I started the challenge I wasn't going to weigh again until day 10 but the scale was taunting me when I got up this morning so I jumped on it. I couldn't believe my eyes when it was down 2.5 pounds from yesterday!!!!! I had to weigh 2 more times to be sure it was right! That huge victory for me was what I needed to keep going. I went and fixed my fiber drink and Spark and went out on the back porch to enjoy the quiet morning while I drank, choked it, down. Fixed another bottles of water and went to get ready for work.
Breakfast was the same as yesterday eggs and strawberries and water.
Before I left for work I had already gotten in 3 bottles of water. My bottles hold 10 ounces. So it is easy for me to keep up with what I drink. I need to drink 10 of them.
I was going to have apple slices and peanut butter for my first snack today, but work got crazy and so I had to grab some cashews instead.
Lunch was applesauce chicken with rice, peas and carrots. I also had the apple slices and peanut butter I was going to have this morning. To be honest though I couldn't eat all of the apple. I just didn't like it. I like applesauce so maybe I can get some unsweetened apple sauce and eat that instead.
So by the end of lunch time I had gotten in 70 ounces of water! Woot Woot!
My afternoon snack was again a boiled egg and glass of water. About 4:00 I started to get hungry again. I drank some water and ate a little more of the leftovers from lunch. I am just proud of myself for bypassing the cupcakes that have been teasing me in the break room every time I go to fill up my water bottle. I knew when I got home mom and I were going walking and I would not want to be hungry while we walked.
I really have to work on getting more fruit in. I am not eating enough of it. I really really hate being such a picky eater. Why can't I just like food that is good for me instead of having to force myself to choke it down....
Got home from work and went for another walk with mom and they girls. I am really enjoying the beautiful weather.
Supper was turkey, quiona and broccoli meatloaf with a side of sweet potatoes and applesauce.
I am so proud of my water consumption today. I drank over 100 ounces today! The girl who HATES water drank over 100 ounces!
Well time to call it a night and get ready for Day 3! Last day of the nasty fiber drink for a couple of days yay!!!
