Results from the 10 day cleanse


So here are my 10 day cleanse results:

pounds lost: 7.6
inches lost: 3 3/8

My energy level and mental focus are through the roof!  I am sleeping great at night, so much so that I might try to come off of my unisom that I have been taking at night for a long time now.  I love the way I am feeling after getting all the toxins out of my body.  I am fueled and ready for the 14 day Max phase and beyond.  I am bringing sexy back slowly but surely!  My clothes are fitting better, I have more energy to do things with my kids when I get home from work.  I feel amazing!  I have actually been getting up in the morning and working out!  I have never done that!  I do 10-15 minutes on the elliptical and even added some jumping jacks and crunches in this morning.  Thank you AdvoCare for helping me feel better so I can enjoy my life more!

Day 7

Sorry I haven't posted in several days.  My youngest daughter has been sick with croup and it has been a very crazy and busy weekend.  

Today is day 7 and I am down 7 pounds!!!! I am through the roof!  I feel amazing and I am even down almost 1 pant size!  

It has been a struggle to find things I like to eat that I can eat.  It has really been a challenge but I am so glad I am doing it and sticking to it!  It has been really hard because I am a bread and pasta lover and I haven't had either in 7 days!  That is some kind of record for me lol

I am loving the Spark drinks!  I have so much extra energy and mental focus.  My favorite flavor so far has been grape.  Nick is even drinking them too and says he can tell a difference in his energy and mental focus while teaching his lessons.

Day 3

So my day started like all the others: run to the bathroom, pee and jump in the scale.....down 4 pounds total so far after only 2 days!  I am rocking this!  The best part is I am not starving myself, I am eating, and eating a lot.

So I then headed to the kitchen for my not so wonderful fiber and Spark drink and catalyst.  Went outside and choked it down...at least I get the next few days off from the fiber drink.  


Breakfast was 2 eggs and unsweetened all natural applesauce and water.

Snack was a hard boiled egg, unsweetened all natural applesauce and water.

I forgot my shaker bottle today so I was freaking out a little as to how I was going to mix my Spark because the water bottle I use will leak if I shake it....luckily my wonderful coworker had an extra water bottle that won't leak so I used it! 


Lunch was turkey, quiona, and broccoli meatloaf with sweet potatoes and water.  

Snack was hard boiled egg, apple sauce and a small spoon of peanut butter and of course water.

I didn't walk this afternoon when I got home.  I missed it too.  Supper was chicken, rice, peas and carrots and water.  

Hoping for another good loss tomorrow!  Good night!

Day 2


So when I started the challenge I wasn't going to weigh again until day 10 but the scale was taunting me when I got up this morning so I jumped on it.  I couldn't believe my eyes when it was down 2.5 pounds from yesterday!!!!!  I had to weigh 2 more times to be sure it was right! That huge victory for me was what I needed to keep going.  I went and fixed my fiber drink and Spark and went out on the back porch to enjoy the quiet morning while I drank, choked it, down.  Fixed another bottles of water and went to get ready for work.

Breakfast was the same as yesterday eggs and strawberries and water.

Before I left for work I had already gotten in 3 bottles of water.  My bottles hold 10 ounces. So it is easy for me to keep up with what I drink.  I need to drink 10 of them.  

I was going to have apple slices and peanut butter for my first snack today, but work got crazy and so I had to grab some cashews instead.  

Lunch was applesauce chicken with rice, peas and carrots.  I also had the apple slices and peanut butter I was going to have this morning.  To be honest though I couldn't eat all of the apple.  I just didn't like it.  I like applesauce so maybe I can get some unsweetened apple sauce and eat that instead.  

So by the end of lunch time I had gotten in 70 ounces of water!  Woot Woot! 

My afternoon snack was again a boiled egg and glass of water.  About 4:00 I started to get hungry again.  I drank some water and ate a little more of the leftovers from lunch.  I am just proud of myself for bypassing the cupcakes that have been teasing me in the break room every time I go to fill up my water bottle. I knew when I got home mom and I were going walking and I would not want to be hungry while we walked.  

I really have to work on getting more fruit in.  I am not eating enough of it.  I really really hate being such a picky eater.  Why can't I just like food that is good for me instead of having to force myself to choke it down....

Got home from work and went for another walk with mom and they girls.  I am really enjoying the beautiful weather.  

Supper was turkey, quiona and broccoli meatloaf with a side of sweet potatoes and applesauce.  

I am so proud of my water consumption today.  I drank over 100 ounces today!  The girl who HATES water drank over 100 ounces!  

Well time to call it a night and get ready for Day 3!  Last day of the nasty fiber drink for a couple of days yay!!!

Day 1



I got up this morning and the first thing I did was use the bathroom and weigh in.  Then I went to the kitchen for the  part of the challenge I have dreaded the most...the fiber drink.  I have a great mentor (Shelby :) ) who suggested mixing it with my Spark so I tried that.  It wasn't too bad, nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.  I downed it really quick and took my catalyst and then off to start getting ready for work.  I made a glass of water to drink  while I was getting ready too.  
My breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, 2 strawberries, a 4 ounce glass of unsweetened almond milk and the rest of the glass of water I had fixed earlier.  I ate almost all of it and got full before I finished.  The almond milk was ok.  I really love milk so I gave it a try, it is not milk.  I liked it but I can't call it milk lol  


My mid morning snack consisted of a handful of lightly salted cashews (couldn't find the unsalted) and my water. 

Before lunch I fixed my second Spark and took 3 more catalyst.  

My lunch was turkey, quiona, and broccoli meatloaf with sweet potatoes and of course my wonderful bottle of water.  I had to dice/ puree up the broccoli and put it in the meatloaf to be able to eat it, but it is in there so it counts!  I only ate about half of what you see in the picture and was full! I used to eat 2 times this much so I wasn't sure this was going to be enough to fill me up.  I guess between all the water I am drinking and eating better food more often I have filled up faster.  



My afternoon snack was a hard boiled egg and you guessed it another glass of water.  Usually by this time of day I am dragging and yawning and falling asleep.  I usually break down and go and get a coke for the pick me up.  Today I have had my 2 spark and I am still feeling great.  No craving for the coke so far.  

When I got home from work mom asked if I wanted to go walking and I was so glad she did.  I really enjoy the afternoon walks with my mom and the girls.  I get in some great exercise and it helps me to de-stress after a long day at work.  We walked my neighborhood and part of the neighborhood across from ours and back to my house.  It took us about 25 minutes.  There are several hills and then on top of that I am pushing a double jogging stroller with a 4 year old and 16 month old so I got a great workout in.  

For supper I had slow cooker applesauce chicken with rice and peas and carrots.  I also took the 4 Omegas.  Those things are huge!!!  



After I got the girls in bed I finished my day by taking the 3 herbal cleanse tabs....they are huge and taste horrible.  Finished off my 100 ounces of water and relaxed the rest of the night.

Sorted and ready to go!


So I decided to separate each day out in to bags and each thing for that day in another bag so I can keep it all straight.  So for example 

Day 1
Bag 1- 30 mins before breakfast: Spark, Fiber Drink, 3 catalyst
Bag 2: 30 minutes before lunch: Spark and 3 catalyst
Bag 4: Supper 4 omegaplex
1 pack of Herbal Cleanse capsules

I did this for each of the days on the cleanse so Days 1-10.  I will do the bags for days 11-24 next week.  This way I grab the bag out for day 1 and I know exactly what I have to take and when.  

I also made a 3 ring binder with all the print outs in it so I can have it all together in one place.  

I did my measurements tonight and will weigh in first thing in the morning when I get up.

Here it is!


The start to the rest of my life arrived today!  I am a little overwhelmed at all there is to it but I am going to get it all sorted and bagged up and ready to go.  I am going to start on Monday May 5 so I have time to go shopping and get everything figured out.
